The following are some of the questions that were on my mind when I first started, in the middle of the year 2007.
- What is PPC?
- Where do I begin to learn PPC?
- Can I really make money from PPC?
- How does not being an American affect my PPC?
- Do I need a huge amount of money to get started?
- What do I really need to begin PPC?
- Whom do I trust in the PPC world?
- Is all the hype surrounding PPC true?
and many more…..

I had intended to have quite a busy month in October, but as any good procrastinator knows it does not take much to start procrastinating. And once you start it is very very hard to get back in gear. Maybe today is the day that I turn things around. I have lots and lots of ideas which I hope will come to fruition at least in the New Year. To properly implement them, it would take that amount of time. I cant even give hints about what I am planning, in the meantime.
So all I can say is, “Stay tuned!!!”.

October 2007 is when I’m going to finally get my ass in gear. I already have a lot of fun stuff planned which I know will be highly appreciated. Get ready for long rambling blog posts on how to squeeze every last bit of functionality from your IM tools. Get ready to be introduced to a whole new bunch of tools that will blow your mind. October is coming…
ps: A new iPhone section will also be started seeing as my friends are getting their iPhones soon, and just because i really like em. I am gonna wait before i buy mine, but since they cant wait, I’ll get to see one quite soon. It blows that they havent even announced its launch yet in my country. You would think that having the second largest growing mobile population was incentive enough. Oh, and we dont have 3G. Apple, where are you??

I have changed the GCD Forum to point to the new Automate your IM forum. All the old posts and members have been retained intact. Some re-ordering might has been done to make it suit the new site.
A wonderful theme by Miner Skinz is now running on the forum. I am trying to get Jax to change the theme of the blog to match the forum, but he seems to be pretty busy at the moment.

I am sick of Wordpress htaccess problems. The damn thing cannot recognise a vbulletin folder inside the wordpress install. I could find no normal way to redirect my forum from the www version to the non - www version. Fortunately, i am not normal
I just hope i dont crash my server.

I have known about AWeber for quite a while now, but i never had the need for an opt-in Autoresponder and newsletter service, until I joined up with Google Cash Detective and started to learn about Internet Marketing. I learnt that email lists are pretty powerful, if utilized well.
Anyway more on that later. What i wanted to mention is that today i got a snail mail letter from AWeber welcoming me to their service. It made me feel warm and fuzzy. Remember that this is only a $20 / month program and i am in faraway India, but they sent the letter anyway. Adding to the warm and fuzzy feel was the fact that the bottom half of the letter contained extremely useful information such as the login URL, login name, phone numbers and URL’s for contact and the support times.
Wow!! I never expected this from AWeber and i am seriously impressed. So thank you Tom Kulzer, whom i have seen on the Warrior Forum, for bringing a smile to my face and actually make me feel good about paying for something.
And yes, those are my affiliate links for AWeber.
Till next time, Srijit

I am a bit excited. After months of developing and hitting a variety of very creative snags, my program is on the verge of being released. In fact, it has already been approved by ClickBank, but i wanted to let some of the people ( whom i have been in contact with over the past few months ) know about it first.
I am also planning to move the GCD forum into this domain (why waste a perfectly good vBulletin license) and use that as the forum for this site.
Yes, i am diverting my path from GCD, ASP and ZamDoo. No, i do not feel that they are bad, indeed i use them. But i wanted a broader perspective and i feel that i have found my niche.
I have doing repetitive tasks. I also hate outsourcing. ( I’m in India. To whom would I outsource?? ). So the only alternative is to automate, make programs that will reduce the strain on my mind and prevent me from getting bored
I still have not been able to train the old version of Dragon Naturally Speaking that i found. Once that is done, i should be able to make longer rants :p
Also, I would like to invite you to join my mailing list. It wont be a high traffic one, maybe one or two emails a month, and hopefully will contain tips and tricks on how to speed up your Internet Marketing.
Cheers, Srijit.

I saw the site CopyBlogger today, and i am smitten by the Wordpress theme that they use. It was made by Chris Pearson, who also made the famous Cutline theme for Wordpress (which he later sold). Happily for me, Chris has made this theme available for download. Now after my good friend Jax get’s back from his trip maybe i can persuade him to modify that theme for this site too. I just love what CopyBlogger has done with the theme. Their side columns and links are so clear that it makes me want to cry. The colors are gorgeous and muted so that it actually makes me want to read more at their site. Also somehow the colors give a sense of richness to their site.
Simply out, it is a beautiful theme and i want it for my site

You might be asking yourself why this blog is so inactive. There are a couple of reasons for this.
- I
am was busy developing a program for release on ClickBank
- After that i got roped into managing a VPS for my friend
- Wordpress has announced ver 2.3 to be released soon. It has got tag support and a few other goodies. If i plan to move the blog to that i want it to move smoothly, so i havent started pounding out my posts, yet.
- I’m quite lazy
and am thinking of a way to make posting more fun.
It’s not that I dont have content. I have loads of stuff that i want to post about, but somehow or the other, i find myself pushing the blog to one side. I still have not implemented the author images hack for wordpress, so that you guys can see my ugly mug
Oh well, maybe sometime real soon

Well, this is a hasty welcome to Automate Your IM. My name is Srijit and i too am an Internet Marketeer (IMer) like most of you guys. I am now doing the 30 day challenge by Ed Dale and his friends. He has made some very interesting observations and i was inspired to start this site. I have and am using many of the IM tools and i thought that this was a good place to share my observations, tips and also the tools that I and my friends make and use.
I am not that good at coming to the point, i sometimes ramble on and on. I just wanted to make this disclaimer at the very beginning.
Cheers, Srijit
